Our riding arena is heated and offers the ideal environment for year-round camps and programs. You can even take riding lessons from one of our experienced instructors.
Or explore the scenic trails while horseback riding with your friends and one of our guides. The ranch is also the perfect setting for carriage and sleigh rides.
The sprawling 1880’s Town has instantly become a guest favorite. This western main street will let you take a walk back in time. Play games with the family at Wild Bill’s Game Room or have fun outside on the sport court and playground. When you need some time to relax, you can cozy up to one of our 13 fireplaces found throughout the property.
Planning a big party? Our kitchen and dining room has space for up to 250 people. We also have 3 meeting rooms for events, meetings and corporate retreats.
When it gets late, you can sleep comfortably in one of our 16 rustic, western themed hotel rooms, each with 2 queen beds. Our Bunkhouse can sleep an additional 72 people and is a great option for kids, camps, hunters and parties. We even have a Medical Center to support event doctors and nurses.

Originally founded in Erwin, SD, our church was moved to Joy Ranch in 2000. Since then, it has become the perfect setting for weddings, baptisms and special ceremonies.

Visitors can reach the lake via an accessible dock for all people and ages. Once there, enjoy fishing, kayaking, swimming, pontoon rides, and ice skating in the winter.
